Hi everyone, I’m George and this year I’m running the Great North Run 2025 to raise money for DMT DRSG, a registered charity rescuing dogs from the horrific dog meat trade in China and South Korea.

These incredible people provide urgent vet care, boarding and food before bringing the dogs safely to loving homes in the UK. To date, they’ve saved 292 dogs—but many more are still waiting to be rescued.

Recent weeks have seen a surge in rescues, so every penny raised will go directly towards vet bills, boarding, food and flights to the UK to give these pups a second chance at life.

This Sunday will mark one year since I lost my special boy Billy 💔 so this year we wanted to give back to the dogs 🐾
