We started this page, when our Mum was being cared for by Saint Francis Hospice due to her battle with terminal bowel Cancer. Sadly Mum lost the fight on 13th May 2023, exactly a year after Nan left us - she came back to get her baby back.

To stay for one night in the hospice costs £690, without any medication, food or nursing care. The nurses are angels in a uniform, and were able to provide not only care, but support and a great level of comfort to Mum 24 hours a day.

Anyone who has been blessed to have our Mum within their lives in some way will know that she gives everything to helping and being there for others, and has spent her whole life being kind to anyone and everyone around her (humans or animal form!).

Saint Francis Hospice has helped Mum in a way that none of us would have been able to, ensuring she is relieved of the excruciating pain that this awful shitty disease caused her, and no amount of money or thankyou's will ever be enough to repay that - but everyone who loves her wants to try to give something back as our way of saying thank you for caring for our lovely Mum.
