The UK has one of the highest rates of family breakdown in the Western world with just two thirds of children living with both parents. More than a million children have no contact whatsoever with one or other parent after separation.

The Child Contact Centre is the only charity in the UK dedicated to solving this problem, by providing safe spaces where children can meet with different family members that they would otherwise not see. It is run by volunteers like Michael and does not receive any government funding.

Michael and I are passionate about this need and therefore want to raise some money during Lent as well as getting a bit fitter before our imminent wedding in the summer. Please support this very worthwhile cause.
