Story
Through my time working within Dermatology over the past couple of years I noticed a darker 'different looking' mole on my thigh. I was reviewed by the team and went on to have a biopsy taken, it came back as a Melanoma insitu. There is now no way I can get out of doing this chairty walk- hahaha!
This year myself and a group of doctors and nurses from Univeristy Hospitals Tees are completing the Lake District 10 peak challenge in one day, to raise money for the Melanoma Focus Charity for skin cancers.
I am extermely grateful to the Dermatology team for their treatment, caring attiude and professionalism. I was in the right place at the right time!
More than happy to be able to raise money for this Melanoma Charity who are experts in Melanoma and provide education, guidance and support for patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
