A Peak a Day For Our Esmé · 28 October 2024

CHUMS is a Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Service for children and young people in Bedfordshire. We support children who have been bereaved, traumatised or suffer with other mental health difficulties. With the right support we can help build resilience and give them hope for the future.

Story

Our beautiful daughter Esmé Alice Kendrick was born sleeping on the 30th July, at 36 weeks. In her name, in her honour, myself, Dan, and some family members will be tackling the 3 highest peaks in the UK, in just 3 days. Starting on the 28th October and finishing on the 30th October. A peak a day for our Esmé. We will start with Ben Nevis in Scotland, then Scafell Pike in the Lake District, finishing at Snowdon in Wales.

The charity which we will be raising money for is CHUMS, the Babyloss Bereavment Service. This charity has helped me and Dan through the hardest time in our lives, and we want to raise as much money as we can for this amazing charity, in name of our beautiful baby girl. CHUMS offer 1 to 1 counselling sessions, group meet ups where you meet other bereaved families and they do different events through out the year.

We are grateful for any donations and thank you for your support as we tackle this challenge.
