The Kilbryde Hospice provides in-patient palliative care and is one of the very few in the area.

Having lost a close family member at the Hospice, I have witnessed first hand the incredibly challenging work that the team do, day in day out. Compound that even further with strict covid restrictions and lack of funding but yet still provide the care and compassion, and show such empathy and professionalism not only to the patient but the wider family was nothing short of incredible.

The whole team are special, special people and I want to ensure I can raise as much money as possible to help keep the Hospice going and those employees in the jobs they do so brilliantly.

The hike up Kilimanjaro is something, as many of you know, that I have wanted to do some time so it is entirely self funded ensuring that every single penny raised goes directly to the Hospice.
