Story
I've taken on a challenge—I've signed up for a nine-week choir to help raise funds for prostate cancer research. Now, you all know singing isn’t exactly my forte, but I’ll give it my best—assuming the choir master doesn’t unceremoniously sack me before the concert!
As part of this, there’s a JustGiving page for donations. Honestly, I’m not a fan of asking for money—it’s not my style and it makes me cringe a lot. But if you’d like to contribute, that’s entirely your choice—every little helps. If not “no problem”
On the other hand, if you would prefer spending around £20.00 to come along to the concert and have a laugh at my expense, that’s an option too! (Address below.)
Thanks for reading—hope to see some of you there!

Men United in Song South Wales
We are Men United – a project choir made up of everyday men from across South Wales, many of whom have never sung on stage before. Brought together by the power of music and a shared purpose, we’re raising our voices to raise funds for Prostate Cymru, the leading prostate health charity in Wales.
On 25th July, we’ll take to the stage at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama for a special charity concert – the very first live performance for most of our members.
This isn’t just a concert. It’s a movement to encourage men to talk about their health, to try something new, and to stand united for a cause that affects 1 in 8 men in Wales.
Your support means everything – whether you’re donating, cheering us on, or joining us in the audience. Every penny raised goes directly to Prostate Cymru, funding vital awareness, support, and research right here in Wales.
Help us hit the high notes for men’s health. Donate today.
