I'm taking on the Big Lent Walk for Water for SCIAF!

Geraldine Hamilton is raising money for Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF)

Walk to Ardmichael Cemetery in South Uist

This Lent, join SCIAF for the Big Lent Walk for Water! We are inviting you to join us walking over 40 days to raise vital funds for our poorest sisters and brothers – and shine a light on global injustice.

Story

This Lent, I am taking part in the Big Lent Walk for Water to fundraise for SCIAF's work to support communities across the planet with access to clean, safe water.

It is 220 miles from my home in Ayr to Ardmichael Cemetery on the Isle of South Uist where my mum is laid to rest so during Lent I am going to walk 220 miles over the 40 days in honour of my Mum.

My Mum was a huge supporter of SCIAF and wanted to do what she could to help people around the world so any donations would be very gratefully appreciated.
