Norfolk Coast Mighty Hike 2025 - half marathon · 11 May 2025 ·

The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

In November 2024, I lost my husband, Vince, to cancer. 7 children lost their dad and stepdad. Vince was just 55.

Without the care of the MacMillan Unit at West Suffolk Hospital, we would never have had the wonderful 16 months that the doctors and nurses were able to give us.

One in two of us will get cancer, and everyone knows someone affected. MacMillan will be there to support you and your loved ones on your journey if needed.

So we (me, Emma and Bethany) have challenged ourselves to take on the Norfolk Coast Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

We would be so grateful if you could help us reach our £500 pledge, which can pay for a Macmillan Nurse for two days. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK, It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.

Thank you!

Geraldine, Emma & Bethany ❤️
