My 2024 Camino Challenge

Camino Walk in aid of Anam Cara · 28 April 2024
Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
On the 28th of April, I will be departing Dublin Airport to take on the final section of the Portuguese Coastal Camino in aid of Anam Cara. My experience last May was so impressive, I'm doing it again!!
Starting in the town of Oia, we will walk approx. 120 kilometres over the week until we reach Santiago de Compostella.
The death of a son or daughter is devastating and feelings of isolation, loneliness and despair will often follow. Anam Cara supports bereaved parents throughout Ireland.
I've been supported since 2016 (5yrs on from Eoin dying in 2011) so certainly eternally grateful to finding this fab group!!
Anam Cara have been great support to me since the sudden death of my sister last Oct. too and offer sibling support to every age of person as well.
Also I'm part of group "Living with no surviving children" which is funded by Anam Cara so really appreciate the support i get from this too!!
All services are free of charge and available to ALL parents after the death of a child, regardless of the age or circumstances of death.
Anam Cara supports over 2,400 bereaved parents annually and the money raised from this challenge will go towards supporting the work of Anam Cara.
Thank you again for your support.
