The Macular Society is the only charity determined to beat the fear and isolation of macular disease with world class research, and the best advice and support. Medical research will lead us to the cure we need to beat macular disease for the next generation.

Sorsby Fundus Dystrophy (SFD) is a rare genetic condition which causes the early onset of macular degeneration. Their is no known cure. Any money raised will be used in research to find a cure. It is a condition which affected my late wife, Margaret, when she was 40 years old.
