Story
Last November I had to say a heartbreaking goodbye to my best mate Ernie, aged 13. He was the most adored Miniature Schnauzer and brought so much joy into our lives, and everyone who met him!
Through having Ernie we became aware of the incredible work of the charity, Schnauzerfest.
Schnauzerfest is a passionate, grant-giving charity dedicated to transforming the lives of all dogs in need. They fund thousands of pounds’ worth of vital veterinary care, helping rescue centres, devoted fosterers, and loving adopters across the UK&IE. Beyond their financial support, they are a powerful voice raising awareness about the heartbreaking realities of low welfare breeding and the cruel world of puppy farming.
On 27 April I will be running the Manchester Marathon in Ernie’s memory, to support the fundraising efforts of this charity who rely entirely on donations.
If you are able to offer any support I would be extremely grateful. Every donation helps gives these dogs the second chance they truly deserve.
P.s. This is my first ever Marathon so any support along the route would also be very welcome- Bib no.25475 🙌🏼
