In Memory of our dad, Gerard

On Halloween 2023, our dad suffered a heart attack and cardiac arrest at just 60 years old. Brindley courageously performed CPR until paramedics arrived. Despite overnight surgery and two weeks on life support, our dad sadly never regained consciousness.

Gerard was a kind, positive, and thoughtful man who always put others before himself. He was an inspirational father and devoted husband, desperately missed by all who knew and loved him.

To honour his memory, we are running to raise money for Heart Research UK in two places that were close to his heart.

Jonathan is taking on a Spartan Beast (21km with obstacles) in Zandvoort, Netherlands, on 24 May 2025, and Brindley is running the Sydney Marathon on 31 August 2025.
