Gerry, Steven & Paul Paris Marathon 2026 fundraiser for The Rooprai Spinal Trust

Gerard Healy is raising money for The Rooprai Spinal Trust

Paris Marathon 2026 · 12 April 2026 ·

We are a multi-award winning, entirely voluntary, charity that supports people from the U.K paralysed by a spinal cord injury. We help individuals to access life changing physiotherapy and we support the research world in their quest to reverse paralysis. #TeamRST

Story

Gerry, Steven and Paul are due to run the Paris Marathon 2026 on 12 April, after months of training in the wind and rain, the team are looking forward to putting the training into practice.

We have chosen to raise money for the Rooprai Spinal Trust (RST) and will join a team of runners for RST on the day. The charity do some amazing work and 100% of donations will go direct to the charity with all expenses funded directly by us.

About the charity:

The Rooprai Spinal Trust was set up to support those affected by spinal cord injury (SCI).

When it’s new and scary and you’re struggling to wrap your head round it, it can be reassuring to talk to those who have had the experience; who have tried and tested various therapies; and who have made progress.

DONATE

Every penny we receive is so important to us as we continue to support those with spinal cord injuries. We are always amazed at the generosity of supporters and the lengths people will go to in order to raise money for RST.
