We are running the 10km Cooper River Bridge in Charleston, South Carolina to raise funds for an amazing charity that helps people like my brother recover from the devastating impact that a stroke may have on their lives. We win helps those recovering from neurological injuries afford rehabilitation services.

My brother Carmelo suffered an ischemic stroke in April 2023 as a result of heart failure. The intense rehabilitation programme once he was stabilised really made the difference in his recovery outlook and has played an important part in his amazing recovery to date. A year on, myself and some of his friends will be joining him for a 10km run to raise funds for such an amazing cause.
