I’m proud to announce a fundraising event this October in collaboration with the @sophie_lancaster_foundation

Growing up as an alternative individual, I’ve experienced firsthand the hate and judgment people face for simply expressing themselves through appearance and culture. The devastation that comes from such prejudice is something I’ve seen up close.

As a piercer, I’ve worked with many who identify as alternative, and although body modification has now become popular with many people, it’s important to remember that we fought for the acceptance and freedom to express ourselves. That’s why supporting the Sophie Lancaster Foundation resonates with me—I believe we can make a difference in building a more inclusive world.

Who is Sophie Lancaster?

Sophie tragically lost her life in 2007 after being attacked for her gothic appearance. Her death inspired her mother, Sylvia Lancaster, to establish the foundation in Sophie’s name. The foundation works to end prejudice against alternative subcultures and prevent hate crimes based on appearance.

What does the foundation do?

-Educates the public to promote tolerance and acceptance.

-Fights to prevent hate crimes.

-Supports alternative subcultures in the UK.

Throughout October 2024, all profits from my piercing services will be donated to the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.
