3 Peaks Challenge - My Page

Giedre Gincaite is raising money for Haslers' Foundation
In June 2025 15 Haslers team members will take of the gruelling three peaks challenge. The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales.

Story

The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales within 24 hours. These peaks are Ben Nevis (1,345m) in Scotland, Scafell Pike (978 m) in England, and Snowdon (1,085m) in Wales. The challenge covers a total distance of approximately 26 miles with a total ascent of around 3,000 meters.

The difficulty of the Three Peaks Challenge lies in its combination of physical endurance, mental resilience, and logistical coordination. Participants must be prepared for continuous exertion, often with minimal rest between climbs. The terrain varies from rocky paths to steep inclines, requiring good fitness levels and hiking experience. Weather conditions can also be unpredictable, adding to the challenge.

We'll be taking on this challenge in support of The Haslers Foundation - established in 2008, supports local charities and community groups across East London and Essex.
