Dementia has had a significant impact on my family, which is why I’m supporting Alzheimer’s Society at the Manchester Marathon.

This will be my first (and very possibly only) marathon so I am looking forward to getting stuck in. The months of training in the cold winter months are a challenge in itself, but knowing I’m running for something meaningful makes it worthwhile.

Alzheimer’s Society aim to work towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives and do this by giving help to those living with dementia, providing hope for the future.
