On July 13, I’m running the Saucony 10K through central London, hoping to raise £1,000 for Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders.

10K isn’t far. But the run is about something much bigger.

MSF works in some of the most dangerous places on earth. In Gaza, they’re working under fire every day, providing medical care where health systems have been deliberately destroyed. Since October 2023, 11 MSF staff in Gaza have been killed, many while treating patients or sheltering with their families.

In Ukraine, in Sudan, in Myanmar - in every country we read about with horror and sadness, MSF staff are there trying to help. They’re extraordinary. I would like to do some tiny thing to help support them. I would love it if you would help me.
