October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month - a time when we focus on ensuring individuals and families know how to stay safe online. To support those who fall victim we want to raise vital funds to add more volunteers to our helpline.

Story

Victims of cybercrime & online harm need our help. Millions are being stalked, harassed, scammed and hacked. By raising funds we can support The Cyber Helpline to add more experts to its helpline and ensure more victims get expert help. I am Ambassador at The Cyber Helpline and have seen the harmful impact cybercrime and online harm has on thousands of our service users.

The Cyber Helpline is a vital service that supports thousands of victims of cybercrime and online harm every month. October is an essential month of fundraising to ensure we can help the thousands of victims who access our support and the millions more who need it.

In a recent endeavor, I participated in The Great River Race, London's River Marathon on September 16th, 2023, as a tribute to the remarkable work of our charity and to bolster our fundraising endeavors. All proceeds generated from this event will be directly channeled to The Cyber Helpline. This marked my inaugural experience of rowing with a team comprising six rowers, a Cox, and a guest passenger.

This extraordinary boat race spans 21.6 miles, embarking from Millwall in the East and culminating in Richmond in the West, passing beneath London's iconic bridges.
