CRY Heart of London Bridges Walk · 22 June 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

CRY's flagship event is a 6.5 mile walk through central London, crossing some of the famous bridges and iconic landmarks.

Story

Early morning December 5th 2024, Dylan suffered a total of 6 sudden cardiac arrests whilst on holiday with his girlfriend Hannah and her family, in Disney, Florida.

CPR was immediate and effective and this meant that he survived. Because of this event, Dyl at the young age of 18 had a S-ICD fitted and so now has his life ahead of him with this device.

This event has made all of us realise the importance of knowledge and awareness around Cardiac Risk in the Young. Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.

CRY works to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.

We will be doing the heart of London Bridges Walk to raise money for CRY and we’d be so grateful any donations, as by doing so, you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.
