On 6th September 2026 I am cycling with 16 friends from Lands End to John O’Groats - approximately 1000 miles in 14 days. I expect it to be the hardest thing I have ever done.

I am dedicating my ride to the memory of my brother Grant, who died in July, just 3 weeks after being diagnosed with liver cancer. He was devoted to his family,: his wife, Mandy, children Jen, Michael and Maria, their spouses and his 3 grandchildren.

He was a gentle, wise and kind man and a supportive loving brother, I am missing having his goodness in the world.
