January 2019 After a very short illness (4wks - cancer), my mum passed away leaving behind her 18 month old border terrier Rosie. I couldn’t bear to see Rosie being rehomed, so I took Rosie in. At the time of my mum’s death I was unemployed as I’d just been made redundant, money was very tight, but i’d heard about Border Terrier Welfare and was on the verge of reaching out to them for help, but a very good friend of mine stepped in to help me out.  But not everyone is as fortunate as me.I continued to follow BTW and saw the fantastic work they were doing, from finding forever homes for abandoned and surrendered dogs or providing financial support to those requiring treatments that their insurance wouldn’t cover.

BTW is run solely by volunteers whose aim is to help as many BT’s as possible, I donated as and when I could, but I want to do more!!

So now, I have decided to brave the shave to raise funds for BTW, who have been instrumental in helping so many border terriers in need. I hope this simple act can make a big difference, and ask that you consider donating to this fantastic charity.
