Story
BRAINKIND needs our support to help patients thrive after brain injuries and neurological conditions.
I am excited to announce that I will be running the London Marathon on April 26, 2026, under their colors. This will be my fifth marathon, and as I celebrate my 65th birthday, I aim to complete the challenging 42 km in just 4 hours. Your generous donations will not only motivate me during this physical endeavor but also contribute significantly to the vital work of BRAINKIND.
There is still so much to be done to improve health outcomes for those affected by brain injuries. BRAINKIND provides innovative rehabilitation and ongoing support, ensuring that life after a brain injury can indeed be a life well lived. Your support enables individuals living with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions across England, Scotland, and Wales to access the best specialist rehabilitation available, helping them achieve their goals and exceed expectations.
Our services encompass a wide range of care and treatment options. In our specialist hospitals and neurological centers, we focus on rehabilitation—helping people regain lost skills or discover new ways to adapt. Additionally, we offer long-term care in our residential homes and supported living services.
I kindly ask for your support in reaching my fundraising target of £1,700 for this important cause. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of many who are striving for a better future.
Thank you for your generosity!
