Story
Gillian Gorvel, our colleague and friend, passed away on 8 December following a brave fight against breast cancer.
Please give generously in Gillian's memory to support The British Thoroughbred Retraining Centre, a charity dedicated to retraining, rehoming and protecting ex-racehorses.
All donations by Carey Olsen staff will be matched by firm.
Gillian joined Carey Olsen in 2008 as part of our HR senior leadership team. Her naturally warm, funny and straight-talking personality lent itself perfectly to the role and for fifteen years she excelled in the development and delivery of HR policies, advising and supporting the partnership. Gillian was fearless and driven always by her care and compassion for everyone at the firm.
Gillian touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Our thoughts are with Gillian's family and friends at this difficult time. May she rest in peace, reunited with her mother and two beloved horses.
