Ellie -Copter Paddlers hit the Lagan for the 3rd year running, we are excited to announce the upcoming "Air Ambulance NI Dragon Boat Race" on June 19th, 2026 with a crew of 18, all fundraising for this essential service.

Our son Jaime was airlifted by Air Ambulance NI in May 2023 after a serious road traffic accident , a big thanks goes out to all the emergency services, the Air Ambulance getting him to the RVH with speed , the NI Fire Service and Police, Also Julie a nurse ( personal friend ) and Alan who were at the scene and alerting the emergency services.

They all helped save his young life at 19yrs old , my husband and I will be forever grateful and for the prayers of family and friends. We are blessed and glad to share this story and the importance of this service for our community across NI

This incredible service brings urgent medical assistance to anywhere in the province, operating seven days a week for 12 hours each day. getting to any location in Northern Ireland in approximately twenty-five minutes, delivering emergency pre-hospital care directly to those in need with the aim of saving lives, brains, and limbs. Totally relying on public funding to keep the Helicopter flying
