February 2024, I am going to be trekking Mount Kilimanjaro to raise vital funds for the building of The Kids Village in Staffordshire.

The Kids Village is a very dear cause to me, as I have known the founder of this charity for 26 years and saw how she over come cancer and her ambition to build The Kids Village after she visited something similar in the USA at the age of 9 years old.

The building of this much needed respite centre for sick and terminally ill children will be an incredible addition to the area and help many children and their families all over the country.

Doing this trek will be a personal challenge for myself and after walking The Great Wall of China in 2004 for Breast Cancer UK, I have been wanting to push myself with a new adventure and what better than doing it with a group of fantastic people and for a cause so dear to my heart.
