Story
I'm completing a 5k this Mother’s Day weekend to help the American Cancer Society fight for a world without cancer. This is a very meaningful cause for me. ACS has a platinum rating on GuideStar (the highest possible) so give with confidence! Please consider making a donation because every little bit helps. Thank you for your support!
Cancer has changed my life forever and I hope to one day live to see a cure for all cancer types.
I will be running my 5K on Mother’s Day morning with my two-year old son, Henry, in the jogging stroller.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2021, just two weeks after finding out I was pregnant with Henry. We went through a surgery and 16 rounds of chemo while he was in my belly. We got through it and thankfully, three years later, are doing great and there is no evidence of cancer in my body.
I wouldn’t be here without my wonderful doctors at Dana Farber and Mass General Brigham, my supportive friends and family, and the research done by the ACS.
Thank you for reading and your support!
