Im Emily! Aka the Ginga Barista!

Most of you know that for my day job I work with The Lewis Foundation at our newly opened non profit cafe ‘Link Cafè’ situated inside the Northampton museum and Art gallery. 🖼️ ☕️

Since working for the foundation I have felt a huge amount of support and care. The foundation have given me the opportunity to do the job I love, along side doing it for the greater good! What’s better than a beautifully crafted coffee and knowing those proceeds are going to those in need?

So, with that in mind I felt like it was my turn to give something back.

Something you DONT know about me, is my immense fear of … HEIGHTS. Yes that’s right. I don’t like being higher than my 5ft1 self!

And because of this, I solemnly swear that if we reach £500, not only will I abseil downy the 418ft lift tower, but I will do it in fancy dress!

Here is a little information about the fantastic charity I am doing this for!

At The Lewis Foundation we source, package and hand deliver gift packs for free to adult cancer patients in hospitals in the Midlands and the community weekly. These are items that patients might find difficult to buy themselves or simply cannot afford – and that brings people happiness and comfort at a difficult time. For many people in hospital and the community, our volunteers are their only regular visitors. We currently provide over 2000 gifts per month to 17 hospitals. People can pick a gift of their choice for free from our gift list.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give what you can, if you can. I can assure you that every penny helps continue the amazing work that goes into the care and packages that are provided.
