I feel attached to their work for so many reasons.

In 1997 I entered shared accommodation through choice at the age of 17 and chose to leave home for my own personal reasons. I have two loving parents who I am so pleased to have a relationship with and in so many ways I have nothing in common with those whom are care experienced. That said for 3 years or so of my life where contact with home was incredibly limited , through my choice, I felt the impact at great personal cost. It is only because of the love and care of my parents that I was able to rebuild my life to what it is today and didn't end up long term homeless. For so many people who don't have parents they have to do it on their own !
