This year, my sister and I are taking on one of the most physically and mentally demanding challenges of my life—trekking to Everest Base Camp raising funds for Demelza Children's Hospice!
But this journey isn’t just about the climb.....
The Everest Base Camp trek will push limits—high altitude, long days, and extreme conditions. But it’s nothing compared to the challenges these children and families face every single day. AND that is something to show up for!
That perspective is what drives both of us. Every step we take toward base camp is for them.
Who is Demelza?
They provide care for children with serious or life-limiting conditions. Demelza supports these families through some of the hardest moments imaginable. They create moments of light in situations that are incredibly heavy.
