Story
I have always been drawn to challenges as they push me to grow and to test my limits. Each year I tend to sign up to few half-marathons and few Crossfit competitions. However, it has always been a goal of mine to run a marathon. It is one of the ultimate tests of endurance, determination and mental strength. But what it makes this challenge even more meaningful is the opportunity to do it for a cause that’s bigger than myself.
I am thrilled to be participating in the TCS London Marathon 2025 as part of #TeamBowelCancerUK. I have chosen to support Bowel Cancer UK, the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity, because they are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. They support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease, and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
I am driven by the idea that every step I take, every mile I conquer, is not just a personal victory but also a step towards raising awareness and funds for Bowel Cancer research and support.
Thanks all in advance for your support!
Giorgio
