Fancy a sleepover under the stars… for a good cause? 👀🦋

We are so happy to announce that Girls Who Walk Preston will be taking part in The Big PNE Sleep Out 2026 ~ an overnight charity event raising vital funds and awareness for female homelessness in our local community.

The event, run in partnership with PNE and The Foxton Centre, shines a light on the realities faced by women experiencing homelessness across Preston and Lancashire. By sleeping out for one night at the stadium, we’re standing in solidarity and helping fund life-changing support services for women who need them most.

We already have a strong connection with The Foxton Centre and are proud to support the work they do across Preston. They provide vital services for women at risk of or experiencing homelessness, and the impact they have locally is huge. Supporting organisations like Foxton is really important to us as a group.

What a privilege it is to even have the choice to sleep out for just one night, knowing we’re going home to our own beds in the morning. This event gives us space to sit with that reality and use it to do some good <3

Doing things with the local community is at the heart of Girls Who Walk Preston, especially when it comes to supporting women.
