Cambridge Pink Week is a student-led charitable organisation that raises money and awareness for breast cancer charities. The society was set up in 2014 by Nina Rauch whose mother, Dina Rabinovitch, sadly passed away from breast cancer.

As part of Girton College's Pink Week, we’re raising money for Breast Cancer Now, a charity dedicated to funding life-saving breast cancer research and providing support to those affected by the disease.

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers worldwide, and we’re determined to help change that. Your donations will directly contribute to Breast Cancer Now’s vital work in finding new treatments, improving care, and ultimately, striving towards a cure for breast cancer.

By donating, you're supporting both ongoing research and practical support services for individuals and families battling breast cancer. Every penny brings us closer to a future where no one has to face breast cancer alone.Together, we can make a real impact.

Pink Week this year takes place 3-9th February and we are organising a range of events:

Sip and Stitch x Pink Week - Tuesday 4th February, 7PM @Old Kitchens

We are collaborating with Girton’s very own Sip and Stitch society! This is an event open to all interested in learning how to crotchet.

Pink Week Bop - Thursday 6th February, 9PM onwards @Deep Schlub

Join us post formal for live music from Roseetta Stone and Daniel Daley Sextet! There will also be themed alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails!

Pottery Society x Pink Week - Friday 7th February, 8PM @The Pavilion

We are collaborating with the Cambridge's wide known pottery society! Join us to create pink week related pottery.

Pink Week Brunch - Saturday 8th February, 11AM-1PM @Great Hall

Think pink syrups, donuts, fruits and much more!

ZYP x Pink Week - Sunday 9th February, 10:30AM @Girton Pool

Join us for aqua Zumba at the Girton Pool!
