Story

GLEBERRY SUPPORT JUMPS FOR CARE WORKERS CHARITY!

Care and support workers across the nation are working hard to ensure that the most vulnerable people in our society are looked after. We get up early to help others start their day, we promote opportunities to help people live their best lives and create paths to include and access local communities. Being a carer isn’t always easy, but it is rewarding.

The care workers charity was founded to support the 2 million care workers who are caring for the most vulnerable people in our society. They recognize that care workers often work for a low income and sometimes the carer needs support. The care workers charity offer crisis grants for when circumstances change. These grants really do make a difference to people’s lives. The Care workers charity also know that a grant alone isn’t always a solution to ones problem and aim to create support structures that people need whilst actively promoting the immense contribution that the UK’s care workers make to our society.

‘As a carer I found myself struggling due to an injury, followed by the sudden passing of my dad. I was left feeling isolated whilst grieving but as well as this I had anxiety about my loss of income. When I reached out to the care workers charity, I received empathy and support. I was overwhelmed with the kindness shown.’

With the support of all our colleagues at Glebbery support we want to give back

Hannah and Garreth from Gleberry will be diving out of a plane and hopefully landing safely, for 3 reasons; to raise awareness of a valuable charity, to raise money so the care workers charity can continue to support the care workers and to give back to a charity that supported me during the most difficult time.

Please do support our dive by sponsoring what you can.

Thank you

Hannah and Garreth
