Gleeds Energy are raising money to support The 2 Minute Foundation, a charity that has sustainability at the heart of their organisation.

As an Energy business, it is also a key part of the Gleeds Energy ethos to strive to do good, and contribute to the UK wide appeal for more sustainability and to reduce the impact of businesses and organisations on the environment. As such, the partnership between The 2 Foundation and Gleeds Energy is a match made in heaven!

To this end, as an organisation, we have set a target of travelling the distance between our most Southern client site (Dungeness) to our most Northern client site (Dounreay) all in aid of supporting The 2 Minute Foundation.

We are asking our colleagues to pledge a number of miles to run, walk, cycle, swim, row etc. to help us reach our target distance of 773 miles.

The event will take place between the 15th and 29th of July.

We know that within the business we have keen fitness fanatics, and as such we have no doubt that the target can be met (who knows, we may even be able to surpass the original target), so every donation made to support their physical efforts will be well received and will make a huge difference to a worthy charitable cause!
