This year is Gleeds' 150th birthday - an epic milestone that we are marking by fundraising for world-leading mental health charity, Anna Freud.

Right now, 1.5 million children and young people across the UK need support for their mental health - that's 10,000 young people for every year since Gleeds started. Anna Freud is on a mission to ensure that every child and young person gets the help they need at the right time, and we need your support to make this happen.

Following the success of 'Tour de Gleeds' last year - in which we cycled over 400 miles on Watt bikes in our Manchester office - we are back bigger and better for World Children's Day 2025.

Introducing the Gleeds 150 Challenge…

In recognition of 150 years of Gleeds and the 1.5 million children and young people needing support in our communities, the Gleeds 150 Challenge will be our toughest event yet. Over four days, our Northern teams and partners will battle the weather and hills (which are very real this time!) as we run, walk and cycle from Gleeds Liverpool to Gleeds Newcastle (via Gleeds Manchester & Leeds).

We ask you all to dig deep in support of this amazing charity and the cause of children's mental health which is so close to our hearts. Just £25 could contribute towards a group therapy session for young people and transform the wellbeing of children like 14-year-old Alex: “I can’t express how much this experience has changed my life and I can’t thank Anna Freud enough. It was the best possible outcome I could have got.”
