A little message from Alder Hey...

Here at Alder Hey Children’s Charity we raise vital funds to help make Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and Healthcare Campus – a truly world-class, patient-friendly Trust and Community for the 450,000 children and young people we care for every year. From life saving medical equipment to creating special moments of Alder Hey magic, we strive to make the hospital experience the best it can be during a young person’s stay.

We have been working in Partnership with Liverpool John Lennon Airport for nearly 10 years now! LJLA joined our Surgical Neonatal Appeal, helping to raise vital funds to support the build of a new state of the art Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) here at Alder Hey. We are proud to say that the construction of our new unit has now begun, and when finishes, will be home to 22 neonatal cots and 18 individual family rooms where parents can be alongside their poorly new-borns whilst they're receiving expert care. It's the first of it's kind in the UK.
