Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page. Glen and Keith have been friends for over 20 years and will be running the Amsterdam Marathon in memory of Glen's mam, Mary. The marathon is on 19 October 2025 and starts and finishes at the Olympic stadium. This means we have approximately 6 months to train 🏃🏻‍♂️ and raise as much as we can. We ask for your support in raising £2000. All money raised goes to MacMillan as we will be funding our own travel, accommodation and entry fee into the race.

Every donation you make makes a massive difference, with 98% of Macmillan income coming from fundraising activities or voluntary donations.

Our goal is to raise as much money for charity as possible in memory of Glen's Mam, Mary who passed away after a battle with cancer in October 2024.

The money raised will go towards Macmillan. There are 3.5 million people living with cancer in the UK today, and more than 360,000 are diagnosed every year. The donations you make will make a massive difference to MacMillan as it will improve the care and support for people with cancer. So if you can a spare a little it would be helpful in us achieving our target. Whilst coins are appreciated, notes are better! Please remember to gift aid and this does not cost you extra.
