Glen Hartley's 2025 fundraising for Myaware

My dad, Paul, showed symptoms of Myasthenia in March '24, his full diagnosis came 6 months later. His speech and eyes are affected, fatigue management plays a huge part in day to day life.
I am completing several huge challenges in 2025 to help fundraise and raise awareness of myasthenia:
- 50+ Parkruns in 2025, over 150 miles in the year including Copenhagen and Amsterdam parkruns
- The Avenue, Hull, Pub Quiz Fundraiser - 18th February 2025 (Complete, raised £360!)
- Snake Lane 10 Mile Race - 23rd February 2025 - Completed in 1hr54mins
- Hell on the Humber 12 hour Endurance race - 29th March 2025 - Completed 16 miles during event, 19 miles on day inc Parkrun
- Champagne League Races - Races across Hull every other Tuesday from April to July ranging from 3-8 miles
- Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon, 11th May 2025 - Completed 05:29:44
- Endure 24, 7th+8th June 2025 (24hrs of running across Braham Park, Leeds)
- Cycling Challenge, Derby > Hull in 1 day, 1st August 2025
- Tough Mudder South West, 16th August 2025
- Great North Run, 7th September 2025
Myaware are a fantastic charity, the only charity in the UK solely dedicated to the support, care and advocacy of people affected the myasthenias since 1968.
Idea's in the pipeline:
- 36 hour Gaming Marathon (Date TBC)
- 5 parkruns in 1 day
- Personal Triathlon
