I am once again taking part in the Heavy Hockey Showdown fundraiser to support the Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton (SACE), an organization that provides critical support to people impacted by sexual violence in our community.

SACE offers compassionate, judgment-free services such as crisis support, counselling, court and police support, and advocacy, helping people feel supported during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Just as important, they work proactively to prevent sexual violence through education and community partnerships that promote respect and a culture of consent.

Hockey is all about teamwork, accountability, and looking out for one another, values that align closely with the work SACE does every day. I’m proud to lace up and help raise funds for an organization that makes a real difference in Edmonton. Any support you can give goes directly toward creating safer, more respectful communities.
