We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

In June 2023 my wife Irina was diagnosed with AML, Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Irina was a positive force of energy, she was always active, running four city marathons cycling the length of Portugal and Biarritz to Barcelona.

Irina lived every day to its fullest and maintained a healthy lifestyle, we'll never know why my wife developed AML out of the blue, but we hope that with your support and future developments in the treatment of AML maybe sometime soon, other families will not be devastated by the loss of their shinning light.

Irina received a lot of support and guidance throughout her treatment from Blood Cancer UK, they provided booklets and support forums and general information about AML from which she drew comfort and hope.

Thank you

Glenn

Basingstoke Softeners Ltd will match all donations up to the target figure.
