Walk the Big One - April 2025
Campaign by Galloways (RCN 1208307)
We will be tackling one of the most iconic roller coasters in the world, "The Big One," at the Pleasure Beach. But this isn't just about adrenaline-fueled thrills. It's about making a difference in the lives of people living with sight loss.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those who know me i love Theme Parks and Rollercoasters!

Being local to Blackpool i have always loved the Pleasure Beach and it was my goto Theme park for many years.

Ever since the Big one opened in 1994 (Known as the Pepsi Max Big One) I have loved the ride ever since. I have ridden it countless times. The best part was reaching the top and having a glimpse of the amazing view before hurtling down at speeds of up to 74mph and it was the tallest roller coaster in the world.

So for me, i get to 'ride' the big one from a different perspective and enjoy the views of up to 235ft and all for a great cause.

I have asked countless people to do the walk and they think I am crazy.! haha. Maybe. No doubt i will get jelly legs and I am not the best with heights so we shall see. I think going up will be the easiest but not coming down!

My Law firm Misha Wallis & Co has been supporting Galloways for a while now and I have decided to do my own personal bit to support them for someting that a lot of us take for granted which is our eye sight.

Since 1867, Galloways has been dedicated to empowering people with sight loss across the North West. Today, they continue to support local people in remaining independent and confidently living their lives.

So please if you can spare some change to no doubt see me panic am I mad? Probably but at the end of the day its all for a great cause. :)
