Hello, friends!
***Update***
A huge thank you to everyone who has sent words of encouragement, shared this post, or kindly donated. Your support really does mean the world. 💛
Sadly, the weather had other ideas this weekend! With the wind and rain, the abseil rig couldn’t be set up safely, so the organisers had to make the tough call to reschedule.
The good news is… it’s not cancelled, just postponed! The abseil will now be taking place on Saturday 12th October.
I’m so grateful to all of you who’ve already donated or cheered us on, it means so much, and we promise we'll make it worth the wait when we're dangling off the side of that building!
We’re thrilled to announce that the clerking team at 3PB Birmingham is taking on a daring challenge! Phil, Izzy, and I have signed up for the UHB Charity Brindley Place Abseil on September 20th, 2025!
This heart-pounding event isn’t just about the adrenaline rush of descending the iconic 3 Brindley Place building – it’s about making a meaningful impact in our community. We are raising vital funds for University Hospitals Birmingham Charity, which supports the incredible work at Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Good Hope, and Solihull Hospitals.
Every donation we receive will directly contribute to providing ‘added extras’ that enhance patient care, support families, and assist NHS staff during challenging times. Your generosity can truly make a difference in the lives of those who rely on these life-changing services.
We invite you to join us on this terrifying yet incredible adventure – whether you’re cheering us on from solid ground or just want to see us conquer our fears, every donation counts. Together, we can help our hospitals continue to provide top-quality care for those who need it most!
University Hospitals Birmingham Charity supports patients, families, and NHS staff across four hospitals in the West Midlands: Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Good Hope, and Solihull. The charity provides essential services and ‘added extras’ that go above and beyond what’s available through the NHS.
Thank you for supporting us and this incredible cause!
