The National Literacy Trust aims to create a society in which everyone has the reading, writing, speaking and listening skills that they need to fulfil their own and, ultimately, the nation’s potential.

Story

At Global PMI Partners communication is at the centre of what we do with our clients. Literacy is the ability to read, write, speak and listen in a way that lets us communicate effectively and make sense of the world.

Have you ever stopped to think about how many of us take literacy for granted? It's something we use every day, whether at work, at home, or when we're out having fun. The National Literacy Trust is an independent UK charity that's on a mission to empower children, young people, and adults with the literacy skills they need to succeed. Literacy changes everything. It gives people the tools to get the most out of life and the power to shape their future. It opens the door to the life they want. Low literacy is inextricably linked to poverty. Over the last 30 years, the National Literacy Trust has worked with those who need them the most, supporting schools, families, and communities on both local and national levels.

We at Global PMI Partners are thrilled to be participating in the Standard Chartered Great City Race 2024 as part of a charity appeal for the National Literacy Trust. On 23rd July eight members of the Global PMI Partners UK team will be hitting the streets of London with one goal in mind: completing a 5k run and raising £££s for this incredible cause.

With your support, we can make a real difference in helping individuals access the literacy resources they need.
