We're raising money for a Renewable Energy Skills Training centre in Togo:

Togo is one of the poorest countries in the world. Compassion Togo register children from the families most in need in their community into a programme that provides the practical support and encouragement they need to overcome poverty.

One of the biggest challenges Compassion graduates have in Togo is finding formal work where the economy is largely agriculture. Youth unemployment is very high and climate change is threatening food security.

Compassion Togo will build a renewable energy training centre to equip 600 youth with technical, innovative and project management skills related to renewable energy. As a result, this intervention will aid national renewable energy access and the number of Compassion graduates finding jobs.
