Daisy Birikorang's Journey

At just 12 years old, Daisy was diagnosed with high-risk alveolar RMS in August 2022. She faced her treatment with remarkable courage - enduring 9 rounds of chemotherapy, 29 radiotherapy sessions, and over 600 blood-thinning injections. Despite her incredible strength, the cancer returned in March 2023.

Daisy showed wisdom beyond her years when she made the powerful decision to stop treatment that was no longer effective. After 106 days in hospital, she returned home in October 2023. On November 27th, 2023, Daisy earned her wings, forever 13 years old.
