For some reason, I thought it would be a great idea to cycle from Lands End to John o' Groats with no support—just a man with a bike and a bunch of gear. What's the worst that could happen? Famous last words!

I have also decided that it would also be good to raise money for my local charity-run nursery, "The Children's Ark." This wonderful nursery means so much to our community and is where our little one will be going!
