Gloucester Cathedral is a place where all are welcome, regardless of background or faith. We are open 365 days a year. Over 350,000 people from all over the world come to the Cathedral every year for services, events or simply to visit one of the finest medieval buildings in Europe.

Story

CHORISTER 111

In anticipation of Three Choirs Festival this year, Gloucester Cathedral Choristers commit to a sponsored challenge, walking the equivalent distance between the three cathedrals: Gloucester-Worcester-Hereford-Gloucester - approximately 111km as the crow flies! The event will take place in Gloucester Cathedral’s cloisters across three dates; 3rd, 10th and 24th June, with both girl and boy choristers participating.

We aim to raise a whopping £10,000 over the coming months to support Gloucester Cathedral Music and have other fundraisers in the pipeline. The proceeds of our sponsored walk will contribute towards that total. Thank you for visiting our page; we appreciate your support.

The excellence of our professional choirs and the accessibility of our other choirs is wonderful, but maintaining them is only possible with regular financial support. We simply could not offer all that we do without the generous donations of a growing number of people who value the singing and music making that help to bring this ancient and spiritual place to life.
