Growing up in Exeter I have always been aware of the hundreds of homeless people and their struggles, especially in winter, without knowing how I might best be able to help them. It is for this reason that I am glad to be able to turn to St Petrock’s, hoping to be able to raise the means with which they can help all of these people. I will be doing this by running a half marathon with five of my friends - a challenge as it will be a first for all of us, as well as being a reputedly difficult coastal path and the event will be taking place at night. We hope this will be able to help some people receive the food, shelter and support they need this winter.
